Almería gets over 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, so the tub works every season for different reasons. Summer along Cabo de Gata hits 35°C and the jacuzzi becomes a cool-down after the beach. Book October through April for the best value. Spring evenings are cool enough that a tub at sunset is the right call. For the cheapest rates, book midweek. Weekend pricing at the same property can run 30 to 50 percent higher.

The Alcazaba fortress sits above the old town and is a fifteen-minute walk from most city-center hotels like Murallas de Jayrán. Spend the morning exploring the walls, then eat lunch at Casa Puga, a tapas bar open since 1870. The waterfront Paseo Marítimo runs right past HO Paseo de Almería, good for an evening walk before you head back to the tub. Almería's city hotels are close enough that you do not need a car for any of this.

Casa Rural Picachico in Laroya is the clearest answer. It is a stone farmhouse in a village of fewer than 200 people, with an outdoor hot tub facing the valley. The setting is pure silence: valley views and open sky. If you want the coast instead, Agua Amarga is a fishing village with no high-rises. Hotel El Tío Kiko there has sea-view rooms and a pace closer to a private rental than a hotel. Both require a car, and the remoteness is deliberate.

Hotel Nuevo Torreluz offers a private balcony hot tub in its top-category rooms, overlooking Plaza de las Flores in central Almería. Casa Rural Picachico, in the village of Laroya, has an outdoor hot tub for two surrounded by mountain silence. Both are exceptions: most Almería jacuzzi hotels place their tubs inside the bathroom. Soaking above a lit plaza and soaking under mountain sky are different trips.

Five hotels sit in Almería city, including Murallas de Jayrán beneath the Alcazaba fortress walls and AC Hotel Almeria in the cathedral quarter. Two are in the coastal village of Agua Amarga, and two more sit inside the Cabo de Gata nature park at Retamar and Rodalquilar. Mojácar and Roquetas de Mar each have one beachfront property. Laroya adds a mountain option 90 minutes inland. Your main decision is coast versus city. City hotels are walkable to everything. Cabo de Gata and Agua Amarga trade convenience for empty beaches.
